Bookkeeper Wanted for Thrift Shop!

Part-time Opportunity

The Langley Thrift Shop has an operating budget separate from the Langley Spouses Club's administrative and charitable budgets, although profits from Thrift Shop sales do go back into the LSC's charitable account. We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to do the following:

- Write Consignment Checks by the 7th of each Month 

- E-File Virginia Sales Tax by the 20th of each Month 

- Maintain Financial Records and Books
- Provide a Monthly Report to the Thrift Shop Board on Shop Finances
- Write reimbursement checks

Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work your hours when the Thrift Shop is open. It is currently open: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2:30pm and 2nd sat of each month 9am-1pm.
- Must have Base Access


-Must be trustworthy

Pay: $10/hour...up to 5 hours a month

Langley Thrift Shop


What we do

The Langley thrift store sells gentle used items at a fraction of the cost of other stores. We accept donations and consignments. Profits are used to fund charitable items for the LSC.


Shopping Opportunity

We are open Tuesday, Thursday and the second  Saturday  (9 am  to  1  pm).   Hours are 9 am to 2:30 pm  on Tuesday and  Thursday.

(Thrift Shop will be closed on Thursday, March 12th, for the Joint Base Services Luncheon at Fort Eustis)

We are located in the Community Commons Building. 74 Burrell Loop, Bldg 64

Langley Officers’ Spouses’ Club is a 501(c)(4). Donations made to the Langley Thrift Shop may not be tax deductible.

 The LSC is now accepting donations for the thrift store! If you have  gently used items that you are ready to part with, we will gladly accept  them. You may schedule a drop off by emailing Langley Thrift Shop
